Privacy
Short version: we do not use tracking or advertising cookies, we do not sell anything to anyone, and the only personal data we hold is what an organiser gives us to contact them about their event.
What we collect
- If you submit an event: the name, email and optionally the WhatsApp number you type in the form, plus the event's own details and the flyer if you upload one.
- If you only read: page views counted on the server, aggregated by day, with no IP stored — we keep a daily hash with a rotating salt, which cannot be traced back to a person.
- No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics, no fingerprinting.
What we use it for
Contact details are used to confirm an event, ask about a detail or tell you it was published. They are not published on the site, not shared and not used to send anything you did not ask for.
Who else sees it
The site runs on Fly.io (hosting), Supabase (database), Amazon S3 (images) and Cloudflare (DNS and CDN). Flyer text is read by Anthropic's Claude to fill in the form. Each of them processes data on our behalf, under their own terms; none receives it to use for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Submission contact details are kept while the event is relevant and deleted when it is removed. Aggregated view counts are kept indefinitely because they identify nobody.
Your rights
Under Mexico's LFPDPPP you may access, rectify, cancel or object to the use of your data (ARCO rights). Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 20 working days. No form and no justification needed.
Images
We only publish a flyer when whoever submits it confirms they have the right to share it. Photos that illustrate a place come from sources with a free licence and are credited next to the image. If you own an image published here and want it removed, write to us and it comes down.
